Old Jim Days 2006

Every year some new things get added. This year was exceptional in what was done.

Two 60' by 40' tarps were lashed together and suspended over the backyard on ropes and fence pipe.

Tom Brown started from scratch and built an amazing 250 gallon smoker in one week. A separate firebox burns wood and fills the large 'oil tank' with smoke. We did a 100 pound pig this year.  

Another addition was an outdoor bathroom. No one likes port-a-potty - especially on the third day. Don Marston put together a flush toilet with a utility sink that tied right into the septic system. Around the corner was a warm water outdoor shower.
